ABOUT THE BOOK :This book contains three sub parts. First part describes about Ashthasthanapariksha. Eight types of diagnostic tools are described. Nadipariksha (pulse examination), various types of Nadhi, examination of pulse at various places, examination of tongue, Rupa, Shabdha, Sparshapariksha, Mutra (urine) and mala (stool) Pariksha are described. Reasons for vitiation of Dosha and their pacifying measures, various fatal signs, good and bad omen, qualities of messenger of patient, origin of diseases in various Nakshatra and their prognosis, Features of deficiency of various Dhatus and its treatments are explained.[BREAK][BREAK]Second part explains about Vaidyamrutam chikitsa part in 4 Alankarasa. Various herbal and herbomineral Treatments of various diseases like different types of Jvara (fevers), Atisara (diarrhea), Kasa (cough), Svasa (Asthma), Kamala (jaundice), Pandu (anemia), Apasmara (epilepsy), Sotha (oedema), Vrana (ulcers), diseases of eye, diseases of nose, gynecological and obstetric diseases, diseases of children etc. are described.[BREAK][BREAK]3rd part describes about Ajirna manjari. In this part various indigestions caused by the excess intake of foods are again treated with other food items. Diets are explained both as causes and treatment of indigestion.
