ABOUT MANUSCRIPT :The manuscript of Kitab al-Mansuri contains 10 maqalat written by Razi. The second Maqala is focused on foods and drugs. This manuscript is relatively recent, written approximately within the last 100 years, though the exact year is not mentioned in the codex. It was copied by the students of Hakim Sheikh Mohammed Hasan under his order. The students involved in copying the manuscript include Sayed Ahmed Hasan Rizvi, Lakhnawi, Ali Sajjad, Jafar Hussein bin Alhajj Sarfaraz Hussain, Syed Zakir Ali Sandelvi, and another individual whose name is not readable due to the tearing of the pages. The most famous book after Al-Ḥāwī is Al-Manṣūrī; both were fundamental sources of knowledge in Europe until the late 17th century. Al-Manṣūrī is a general medical textbook written by Al-Rāzī. It was dedicated in 903 AD to a local Iranian prince named Abū Salih al-Mansur ibn Isḥāq, governor of the town of Ray near present-day Tehran. This work is a relatively concise textbook, comprising just nine chapters(maqalahs), but it had a profound influence throughout the Islamic world and in Europe. It became one of the most widely read medieval medical manuals in Europe, with the ninth chapter on therapeutics often circulated separately under the title Liber nonus ad Almansorem. The manuscript is preserved in the Khuda Bakhsh Library, Patna, India
