ABOUT MANUSCRIPT :Muntakhabat Ghina Muna is a manuscript that includes the Urdu translation alongside the Arabic text. Ghinā Munā authored by Al-Qumri, explores fundamental theories of medicine, various diseases, diagnostics, and therapeutic approaches. Al-Qumri aimed to compile the diverse views of physicians into one comprehensive text, minimizing the need for consulting multiple sources to understand diseases and treatments. This intent is reflected in the title Kunnash al-Ghina the one that makes you free from other books and Al-Muna. A book that you desire to read which can also be interpreted as a book serving medical purposesGhinā Munā is concise but exceptionally useful, containing personally tested drugs alongside references to earlier physicians' works. The manuscript is organized into three main sections, or Maqalah:1. Maqalah1 Focuses on diseases that affect specific organs, from head to toe. It covers conditions of the head, nerves, lungs, chest, intestines, liver, and other miscellaneous die ases.2. Maqalah, Addresses external and superficial diseases that are not confined to a single body part, such as psoriasis, leprosy, eczema, and other skin conditions.3. Maqalah Discusses fevers, and includes notes on pulse, urine, stool, and medical crises. The manuscript comprises twenty chapters in total and encapsulates the concepts of ancient physicians regarding various diseases, making it a valuable resource in the study and practice of Unani medicine.
