| ABOUT THE BOOK : | The book Añjananidānam explains about the निदान(cause) and लक्षण( symptoms ) of about 80-90 diseases. The book was wide accepted among the then Ayurvedic physicians as a handbook of Nidana. As mentioned in the preface of this book, on comparing the work अञ्जननिदन with माधवनिदान (of माधवाचार्या), one can say that the latter is a detailed work based on आचर्य अग्निवेश 's अञ्जननिदन.
